Central West Bike Tours hopes to show the beauty of the Parkes, Forbes and Eugowra neighborhoods to hordes of cyclists.
The travel agency, run by Nicole Maroney, operates tours throughout the mid-west, covering Parkes, Forbes, Cowra, Canowindra and Young.
Several options are now available, including new tours in the neighborhoods of Parkes, Young and Canowindra.

Parkes’ next tour leaves Parkes on November 28 and will head to Forbes and Eugowra before returning to Parkes.
“The roads are low traffic, gravel and secondary roads, carefully selected so you can peacefully enjoy the scenery and highlights of our area,” Nicole said.

Day 1: Parkes to Forbes 40 km, overnight in Forbes.
0800hrs Arrive at Parkes Information Center, for route briefing, preparation time and equipment check where you will meet your guide and group members. The tour departs from Parkes to cycle along a quiet country road to Forbes.
Forbes town has a beautiful lake and a cultural center in the middle of town. The city has many historical buildings preserved in good condition. Look at the biscuiterie in the main street. Check into the hotel, meet the locals and enjoy the evening.
Day 2: Forbes to Eugowra 50 km, overnight in Eugowra.
Open farmland is a picture we drive you can see for miles. It is a very productive land, largely polyculture (crops and livestock).
Eugowra has over 20 murals. Your guide will show you all the amazing murals and tell you the story behind it all.
The Fat Parcel has the best coffee and the best food, you have to experience it for yourself.
Check into the hotel, meet the locals, and enjoy the evening talking about the ride.
Day 3: Eugowra to Parkes 50km.
The return to Parkes is scenic. Rolling hills straddling the valley with stunning views over wooded areas. Upon arrival in Parks, take time to enjoy the Henry Lawson Center which has 4 museums. Henry Lawson, Elvis, Motor Museum and Antique Machinery Museum. The tour ends at 4 p.m.
